Boot Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Wide Water Campground is a good spot to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn - Wetmore is a great location to spend a night or two. Mosquito Beach Campground is a glorious local campground; don't leave Boot Lake without first going for a hike along the Lakeshore       Trail. Summertime highs at Boot Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are typically in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Boot Lake. Boot Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. But wait, there's more to do next to Boot Lake. Lakes? Sure, Little Boot Lake is                  in close proximity, and don't forget to take a good little spree to Beaver Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
