At Boom Lake throughout the months of summer highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Boom Lake. The annual precipitation here at Boom Lake is about average; all through September this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Hughes Swamp is       a swamp close to Boom Lake, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Pretty Lake is just a very short distance away. If you're a golfer then a delightful nearby course is St Ives & Tullymore Golf Club & Resort, and lots of people from Big Rapids come here. Why not camp at Shooltz's Landing if you're here at Boom Lake, and getting to Chippewa Creek from Boom Lake is trouble-free.
