This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Haywire Grade ORV Trail. There's so much to do here at Bog Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hiawatha Resort and Campground is a good site for that. Bog Lake gets a typical amount of rain; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month       of the year is February. Highbridge Lake is a great lake near Bog Lake; don't leave Bog Lake without first going for a hike along the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail. Bog Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Wide Water Campground is a great local campground, and after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn - Wetmore is a perfect place to spend a night or two. At Bog Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's while                  nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Bog Lake. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Bog Lake rocks!
