This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Putman Lake Camping is always a nice experience; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn BIG RAPIDS; on a nice day you can take a hike along the North Country National Scenic       Trail. From a precipitation point of view Bluegill Lake is a quite normal spot; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Yeah, come here to Bluegill Lake for a splendid time. For the duration of the months of summer at Bluegill Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's.
