Blueberry Lake is always a pleasure to visit. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Blueberry Lake; September is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Bittersweet has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff, and a golf course nearby is Cheshire Hills Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Timber Ridge; Swan Lake Campground is a pleasant local campground.

| | High temperatures at Blueberry Lake during the summer months are in the 80's; the night is a little cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's; nighttime lows at Blueberry Lake all through the winter typically sink into the 10's. If you need a site to stay Budget Host Sunset Motel is a great choice; there are plenty of people from Allegan here at Blueberry Lake.

campground nearby, and naturally, this is a perfect region for folks who like lakes, Swan Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Blueberry Lake, too tremendous to be true. Comfort Inn & Suites is a great site to get some rest, and you're almost certainly into lakes, Silver Lake is one of those close by.

I sometimes wonder if they actually measure the snowpiles that have been plowed in the parking lot instead of what is actually on the hill.... |

Bittersweet

Bittersweet has enormous snow-making capacity and is consistently the first to open in SW Michigan. Their vertical is only 350 ft, but that's about 100 more than any other resort in SW Michigan. As noted, their lift system is impressive, particularly the high speed detachable quad, but lines can get a little long on late December weekends. Their terrain park has a good variety of boxes, jumps, etc. Very friendly people....Yea you guys rock i love the snow...Ahh yes, Bittersweet Ski Area... Michigan skiing at it's very best. The drops in these part of the country are not that impressive but I think Bittersweet makes the most of it. I do recommend this ski area.... |
