St Ives & Tullymore Golf Club & Resort is a great golf course nearby, and a splendid place to camp here at Blue Lake is Blue Gill Lake Campground. What a place this is for outdoors people. You'll meet a lot of people from Big Rapids here. There's some flowing water nearby, Cole Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here, and       Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Big Rapids, Mi is a brilliant place to get some rest. Through the warm days of summer at Blue Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Blue Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is School Section Lake, and after a long                  day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Evart, Mi is a delightful site to spend a night or two.
