Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Big Rapids, Mi is a brilliant location to get some rest; Blue Lake is a great place to camp, Horsehead Lake Campground is a great place. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Mecosta is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and a golf course nearby is St Ives & Tullymore Golf Club & Resort. The warmest time of the year at Blue Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's.       When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Blue Lake dip into the 0's. From a rainfall point of view Blue Lake is a relatively typical location; September is the wettest month with most rain while February is typically the driest month. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Blue Lake is not                  far at all from Big Rapids, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Evart Mi. Cole Creek flows through this vicinity.
