This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Marquette, MI, and a quick journey to East Branch Escanaba River is without doubt a great idea. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. You'll need more than a       day to explore everything Blue Lake has to offer, you can camp at Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds, and if you're here and you like golf, you can go to Red Fox Run Golf Course. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Marquette if you're here, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Escanaba River - East Branch. Blue Lake is a good place of common precipitation; during the month of September you get the most rain around here; the driest                  of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. During your journey to Blue Lake you'll meet some folks from Marquette for sure, and there are other spots here than Blue Lake, for example Johnson Lake. All through the months of summer here at Blue Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, mostly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's while Blue Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's.
