A visit to Blue Lake is always a good idea. During the summertime months highs here at Blue Lake get into the 70's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 10's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for Blue Lake tend to be in the-10's. Going for a hike on the Lauterman Trail is always a great adventure; if you need a spot to stay Iron Inn Motel is a nice choice. The slopes of Ski Brule are so inviting

Blue Lake gets a typical amount of rain; August is when you get the most rain here while February is frequently the driest month. Be careful coming to Blue Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. Brule River is a great whitewater spot close to Blue Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Bewabic State Park is a splendid place to camp. This lake is | |

so wonderful. While you're here at Blue Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Iron Mountain, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pine River.

wonderful. Camping at Blue Lake is splendid fun, Iron County Pentoga Park is a splendid local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Iron River, Mi. Some of the water nearby flows, like Fortune Lake Creek, and hey, Gotta ski right? Brule Mountain is a great place to do that.
