Blue Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Paradise Lodge Resort is a great local campground, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Devils Lake Trail. From a rain point of view Blue Lake is a quite typical spot; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Campers Cove RV and Campground is a tremendous       place to do that, and there are plenty of people from Alpena here. If you need a spot to stay Alpena-Days Inn is a splendid choice. High temperatures at Blue Lake during the summer are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Blue Lake sink into the 0's.
