For the period of the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Blood Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Blood Lake during the winter ordinarily plunge into the 10's. If you're going to Blood Lake from Lansing-East Lansing, you won't be the only one, and Blood Lake is a wonderful site to       visit for more than one day, Lansing Cottonwood Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby. Blood Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; September is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Blood Lake and you like golf, you can have a look at Pine Hills Golf Course, and Moon Lake Campground is a splendid local campground. After a long day outdoors Residence Inn East Lansing                  is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and Lake Victoria is a nearby lake that you could visit. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Blood Lake.
