You're possibly addicted to lakes, Coles Lake is one of those close by; if you came to camp Wierenga's Hess Lake Mobile Home is a perfect site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. A fine close by hotel is Quality Inn Grand Rapids North, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail. Nearby lakes? Sure, Skipperville Lake is next to Blanch Lake. There's so much to do here at Blanch Lake that you need to camp here for a while,

Rustic Camping also available on a limited basis. As of April 15, 2009 we have two seasonal electric sites available for rent this season. Rate is $700. 00 for the year. Our camping rates nightly are $12. 00 for non-power sites and $15. 00 for electrical sites. No running water/hand pump. No dump station. Outhouses and porta- potties in the busy summer season.
Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
