Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 10's with temperatures at Black River Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. Black River Lake is one of the lakes here in the Gogebic Range. Just can't get enough of the Gogebic Range. If the weather is great here at Black River Lake, you can go for a hike along the Rainbow       Falls Trail, and a brilliant close by hotel is Comfort Inn Ironwood. So many amusing things close to Black River Lake, simply extraordinary. Take a side tour to Underwood Creek, and lakes are such serene places, why not check out Bass Lake. Whitewater paddling is nice on Turtle River, and a striking lake like Lake Evelyn is a fine site to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Black River Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; during the month                  of June you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. And that's not all the things to do here in the Gogebic Range. There's so much to do here at Black River Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Big 6 RV Resort and Campground is a magnificent spot for that; splendid skiing awaits you at Big Powderhorn Mountain. This lake is so wonderful.
