Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things close to Black River Lake. Big Powderhorn Mountain is a very popular ski area nearby; there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Rainbow Falls Trail. So many cool things to do in the Gogebic Range, not enough time. There are other spots here than Black River Lake, for example Lake Evelyn; camping at Big 6 RV Resort and Campground       is always a wonderful experience. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Black River Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Black River Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Ironwood, Mi, and why not a little side journey to Underwood Creek.
