     If you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Lakeshore is a tremendous choice; if you came to camp Merwin Creek Campground is a good place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Clemons Lake while you're here at Black Lake; it's close by, and going for a hike along the High Rollways Truck Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. From a rain point of view Black Lake is a pretty typical spot; September is the wettest month  
   with most rain, and the driest month is February. Holiday Inn Express MANISTIQUE is a nice spot to get some rest.
Summertime highs at Black Lake typically tend to be in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's; overnight lows at Black Lake throughout the wintertime mostly sink into the 0's. Looking for something close to Black Lake? Tucker Lake is in the neighborhood, and Black Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Mead Creek Campground is a perfect local campground.

Pets are welcomed with courtesy rules enforced.  Reservations are welcomed...
