Take a hike on the High Rollways Truck Trail. A good nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Lakeshore; camping at Mead Creek Campground is always a tremendous experience. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Manistique, Mi is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and Black Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Merwin Creek Campground is a magnificent local campground.       Black Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Black Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
