Lakes are good; Stevens Lake is a lake that's close to Black Lake. Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa is a wonderful spot to get some rest; not far from Black Lake you'll come across Horseshoe Lake which is a stunning lake. Be careful coming to Black Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is a perfect national park; camping at Lime Lake Campground is always a great       experience. If you came to camp Cycle-Moore is a delightful location to do that, and the top of Varney Hill is easily spotted from Black Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Scenic Hill Resort. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Black Lake; the month with most of the rain is September, and February meanwhile is the driest month. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Crystal Mountain is near Black Lake; golf can                  be played at Mistwood Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Traverse City here at Black Lake; the snow is magnificent at Homestead. Throughout the warm months at Black Lake highs are regularly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's.
