There's so much to do here at Bitely Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Putman Lake Camping is a brilliant place for that. Bitely Lake is right by the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail, and there are other locations here than Bitely Lake, for example Isaac Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the North Country National Scenic Trail, and if you came to camp Whispering Oaks Campground       and Cabins is a glorious place to do that. Mowby Lake is a great lake in the vicinity of Bitely Lake, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Holiday Inn BIG RAPIDS. Bitely Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; most of the rain falls through August while February is regularly the driest month. During the warm months highs here at Bitely Lake reach the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the                  20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Bitely Lake.
