During your journey to Bissell Pond you'll meet some folks from Traverse City for sure. Hit the slopes at Shanty Creek around here; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like High Pointe Golf Club. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Bissell Pond reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs       in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Bissell Pond fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Northern Pines Campground is a great location to camp; there's some flowing water nearby, Bissell Creek is a stream you can have a look at while here. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Bissell Pond. Get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater of Boardman River, and                  after a long day outdoors Sleep Inn Acme is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. Bissell Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; the month with most of the rain is September, and February is the month with the least moisture. Traverse Bay Recreational Vehicle Park is a good campground nearby, and if you're here, you could also go to delightful Twin Lakes.
