After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Munising/Wetmore Area is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Edgewood Motel is a good local campground, and there are other places here than Bishop Lake, for example Poplar Lake. For the period of the summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at Bishop Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.       Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Bishop Lake during the wintertime usually sink into the 0's. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things near Bishop Lake. There's delightful hiking along the Bay De Noe Grand Island Trail, and why not camp at Whispering Valley Campground since you're here at Bishop Lake. You can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Gladstone Ski Park, and the wonderful folks of Escanaba like to hang                  out nearby. Bishop Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is September while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Addis Lakes Ski Trail offers hiking at its best, and get covered with water paddling on Au Train River. Lakes?
