Birch Lakes is a good spot of typical precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly September, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You could also stop at Mallard Lake while you're here at       Birch Lakes; it's close by. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something next to Birch Lakes? Alger Lake is close at hand, and you can stay the night at Au Sable Point Campground. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Birch Lakes. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's.
