    Beautiful Birch Lake has much to offer visitors. And that's not all you can do here at Birch Lake. The slopes of Shanty Creek are so inviting nobody can resist. Elk Rapids Golf Course is a golf course right next door to Birch Lake, and a tremendous place to camp here at Birch Lake is Vacation Village. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Birch Lake, you could also visit striking Mud Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn Acme.

   gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly September, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Do pop by Bass Lake close to Birch Lake, it's a striking lake, and after a long day outdoors Grand Traverse Resort & Spa is a great place to spend a night or two. Why not explore close by Paradine Creek since you're here at Birch Lake, and Birch Lake is magnificent  
               enough to spend more than a day at, Honcho Rest Campground is a magnificent local campground.
Summertime at Birch Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are usually in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Birch Lake.
