There's so much to do here at Bilsky Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Gitche Gumee Campground and RV is a delightful site for that; Escanaba River - Middle Branch has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Bilsky Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down all through       the winter temperatures at Bilsky Lake drop into the 0's. From a precipitation point of view Bilsky Lake is a relatively typical site; the wettest month of the year is mostly September, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Bilsky Lake. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Marquette is close to Bilsky Lake, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Escanaba                  River - East Branch. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bilsky Lake has to offer, you can camp at Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Lakeside. There's good hiking along the Holyoke Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
