     North Lake is a great lake in close proximity to Billings Lake, and Comfort Inn Cadillac is a wonderful place to get some rest. All the outdoors amusing things next to Billings Lake will keep you coming back persistently. Summer at Billings Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Billings Lake  
   temperatures fall to the 10's. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Caberfae Peaks. Lakes? Sure, Mill Pond is in close proximity.
Billings Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; September is when you get the most rain here while February is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Cadillac, and camping at Lake Billings Campgrounds is always a nice experience. Camping is available at Long Lake Campground, and there are plenty of folks from Cadillac here.

As it turned out it was by far the best camp site I had ever stayed in and had a great time. Our site happened to be next to the river with a great view, secluded and close to the river. I would highly recommend this campground for access to the pine river. Great canoeing, kayaking, fishing, etc. swimming...
