There's so much to do here at Big Lake       that you need to camp here for a while, Gaylord Michaywe Kampground is a pleasant spot for that; dry warm beds await you at Treetops Resort. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Big Lake get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Big Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Otsego Club and Resort is a great choice; whitewater paddling                  is brilliant on Sturgeon River.
