If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express WIXOM is a nice choice; if you came for an overnight stay Groveland Oaks County Park is a magnificent spot to       camp. The yearly precipitation here at Big Lake is about average; September is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. A day on the slopes of Pine Nob is just what you need, and swamps can be such out of the ordinary locations, visit Huron Swamp while you're here at Big Lake.
