A lake nearby is Long Lake. There's so much to do here at Big Bear Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shady Acres Campground is a fine site for that. What would winter be without some skiing at Treetops Sylvan, and if you came to camp Sno-trac Camper Village is a great place to do that. Summertime at Big Bear Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs
