     If you came for an overnight stay Big Lake Campground is a great spot to camp; a lake close by is Grass Slough. Belle Lakes is a good place of typical rainfall; the month with most of the rain is September, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Newberry is a nice choice. Blind Sucker Campground is a nice campground nearby, and Camp Seven Alke is a nearby lake that you could explore.

   Lakes all through the months of summer highs are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows at Belle Lakes throughout the winter commonly sink into the 10's.

Most sites are grassy and have a mix of sun and shade and are mostly level with some having pads for the large RV's; there are pull throughs too.  We welcome big rigs, tents and anything inbetween!  We have some excellent spots to situate a group camping atmosphere or family reunion.  If you are a bird watcher, we are 3 miles south of Seney National Wildlife Refuge and offer canoe/kayak rentals through the refuge. Pets are welcomed with courtesy rules enforced.  Reservations are welcomed...
