There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Sturgeon River, and Beck Lake is right by the Pelkie Creek Hunter Walking Trails. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Perch River, and Mill Lake is a great lake close by. This spot is peerless, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do near Beck Lake. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Baraga Lakeside Inn is a nice choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Ste. Kathryn Campground

| | is a nice location to camp. Through the months of summer at Beck Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Beck Lake. Erickson Creek is a great local stream. Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a great place to get some rest; lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Elginor Lake. | |
