Beck Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Sturgeon River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; Dentel Lake is a fine lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Pelkie Creek Hunter Walking Trails, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Iron River, Mi. So much enjoyable stuff next to Beck Lake, definitely inspiring. High temperatures at Beck Lake during the long summer days are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs all through the winter are usually in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Beck Lake. Beck Lake gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the
least moisture. Hit the slopes at Ski Brule nearby, and Erickson Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at.
