Having a fine time at Becher Lake is trouble-free. If the weather is beautiful, you acquire a great sight of Buck Hill from Becher Lake, and Norway Mountain has nice slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. Menominee River is a tremendous whitewater spot next to Becher Lake, and there are other spots here than Becher Lake, for example Resort Lake. This lake is so wonderful.       Stephenson Motel is a wonderful local campground; the cheerful folks of Marinette like to hang out nearby. All through the summertime months highs here at Becher Lake reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Becher Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. A good close by hotel is Best Western Crivitz Lodge, and if you need a spot to stay                  Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI is a fine choice. Not far from Becher Lake, you'll come across East Lake which is a beautiful lake; while you're here you can play some golf at Indian Hills Golf Course. A fine place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Becher Lake is Pike River, and why not camp at Shakey Lakes Park while you're here at Becher Lake.
