For the period of the long summer days here at Becher Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Becher Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. If you're going to Becher Lake from Marinette, you won't be the only one, and glorious skiing awaits you at Norway Mountain. Man,       is there heaps of cool things to do next to Becher Lake. Paddling on Menominee River is so much fun; Indian Hills Golf Course is a good golf course close by. From a rain point of view Becher Lake is a rather typical place; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. A splendid site to camp here at Becher Lake is Shakey Lakes Park. Whitewater paddling is great on Pike River, and a great vista of lovely Buck Hill is available.                  This lake is so wonderful. Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI is a pleasant place to get some rest; camping is available at Stephenson Motel.
