     Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Bennett Lake, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Dairy Creek. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Newberry is a good choice. Lakes are magnificent; Ladue Lake is a lake that's near Beavertown Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Beavertown Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Superior Campground is a perfect place for that.  
   You'll need more than a day to discover everything Beavertown Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Blind Sucker Campground.
Summer at Beavertown Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Beavertown Lakes overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
