Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Beaver Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at McCargoe Cove Campground, and magnificent hiking is available along the Greenstone Ridge Trail. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Beaver Lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest month of the year is April. Don't leave Beaver Lake without first going       for a hike along the Minong Ridge Fire Manway, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Calumet, Mi. A great place to camp here at Beaver Lake is West Chickenbone Lake Campground, and there's wonderful hiking along the Indian Portage Trail. Throughout the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Beaver Lake while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Beaver Lake dipping down into the                  0's all through winter nights.
