You'll find a stunning lake called Coombs Lake near Beaver Lake, and Lyons Landing & Travel Trailer is a nice campground nearby. Here at Beaver Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Alpena; if you're here you can take a hike along the Norway Ridge Trail. At Beaver Lake through the summer months highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes       with highs in the 20's while Beaver Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. Paradise Lodge Resort is a great local campground, and hey, Rayburn Creek is a brilliant local stream. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Fletcher Pond right next door to Beaver Lake, and if you need a place to stay Alpena-Days Inn is a good choice. What a place this is for outdoors folks.
