Why not go to close by Big Pup Creek since you're here at Bear Lake, and Bear Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Country Village RV Park is a splendid local campground. During your stay at Bear Lake do check out close by Squaw Beach, and everybody close by loves skiing at Marquette. An average amount of rainfall falls at Bear Lake; through September this area sees the most rain while February is       usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Marquette-Days Inn is a great choice; if you come at the right time of year, Big Garlic River offers some nice whitewater. Bear Lake is a spot with many visitors from Marquette, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Country Inn. And that's not all you can do here at Bear Lake. While you're here at Bear Lake you can take a hike along the Holyoke Trail, and get yourself                  into a kayak and hit Yellow Dog River.
