The skiing at Crystal Mountain is good, and Bear Lake is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Hopkins Park Campground is a glorious location to camp nearby. Dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Alpine Motor Lodge. For the period of the summer months highs here at Bear Lake reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows       in the 10's overnight here at Bear Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Near Bear Lake you stumble on a golf course called Chestnut Hills Golf Course; you can stay the night at Crystal Forest Campground.
