Bates Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Little Spring Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at; getting to Camp Creek from Bates Lake is uncomplicated. The annual rainfall here at Bates Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily September, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. All through the warmest time of the year, highs typically are in the 70's at Bates Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Bates Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Paddling on Michigamme River is so much fun. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bates Lake has to offer, you can camp at Silver Lake Resort.
