At Bassett Lake you always meet someone from Grand Rapids-Wyoming; why not camp at Engelwood Campground since you're here at Bassett Lake. Bassett Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Yankee Springs Golf Course. Do have a look at Baker Lake near Bassett Lake, it's a pretty lake; a pleasant location to camp here at Bassett Lake is Sharp Park. Fisk is a great lake to fish on. You must have a kayak or canoe to gain access through the channel that runs between Reeds and Fisk. Put your boat in on the West side of lakeside across from the dock at Reed's lake next to the municipal building. Have Fun... |

Bittersweet

Bittersweet has enormous snow-making capacity and is consistently the first to open in SW Michigan. Their vertical is only 350 ft, but that's about 100 more than any other resort in SW Michigan. As noted, their lift system is impressive, particularly the high speed detachable quad, but lines can get a little long on late December weekends. Their terrain park has a good variety of boxes, jumps, etc. Very friendly people....Yea you guys rock i love the snow...Ahh yes, Bittersweet Ski Area... Michigan skiing at it's very best. The drops in these part of the country are not that impressive but I think Bittersweet makes the most of it. I do recommend this ski area.... |
