Bass Lake is not the only site close by, Clark Lake is a close by lake. There's so much to do here at Bass Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Henry Lake Campground is a fine place for that. The amount of precipitation that falls at Bass Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month of the year       is February. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. This lake is so wonderful. Bass Lake is right by the Alligator Eye Trail, and Indianhead is a very popular ski area close at hand. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Gogebic Range, too great to be true. Take a hike on the Rainbow Falls Trail; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Big Powderhorn Mountain. All year is a perfect time in the Gogebic                  Range if you like the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is good on Little Carp River. Summertime at Bass Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Bass Lake. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Bass Lake.
