Do stop by Bass Lake while you're in this part of Michigan. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Bass Lake; during September this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Do have a look at East Lake near Bass Lake, it's a pretty lake, and Indian Hills Golf Course is a good golf course nearby.

The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Bass Lake are in the 0's. The slopes of Norway Mountain are so inviting noone can resist, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI.

This is a popular site for folks from Marinette; get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Menominee River. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Pike River, and Buck Hill is
striking and can be made out from here. Best Western Crivitz Lodge is a wonderful place to get some rest, and a good site to camp here at Bass Lake is Shakey Lakes Park.
