You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Norway Mountain since you're here, and on a pretty day you get a perfect sight of Buck Hill from Bass Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Amberg Campgrounds and Bar is a good place to camp; Pike River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by. You're in all probability into lakes, Baker Lake is one of those       close by, and an afternoon playing golf at Indian Hills Golf Course is always a joy. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Bass Lake, so little time. Best Western Crivitz Lodge is a wonderful place to get some rest, and if you've had enough of Bass Lake, East Lake is close by. If you need a place to stay Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI is a wonderful choice, and why not camp at Shakey Lakes Park if you're here at Bass Lake. For the period of                  the summer months here at Bass Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Bass Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Bass Lake gets a common amount of rain; September is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is February.
