It's always fun to stop by Bass Lake. Just can't get enough of Bass Lake. For you golfers we recommend close by St Ives & Tullymore Golf Club & Resort, and camping at Shooltz's Landing is always a good experience. After a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Big Rapids, Mi is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, of course you could also take a look at Dogfish Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Why not visit

| | a swamp like Hughes Swamp while you're here at Bass Lake, and Chippewa Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. A common amount of rain falls here at Bass Lake; all through September this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
