Bass Lake is not far at all from Marquette, and skiing at Marquette is one of those things you just have to do. Dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn - Marquette, and get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Escanaba River - East Branch. Cyr Swamp is a swamp near Bass Lake, and you can stay the night at Gitche Gumee Campground and RV. This lake is so wonderful. During the months of summer highs here at Bass Lake get into the 70's;

This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Duck Lake if you're here at Bass Lake; it's close by.
