Bass Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A typical amount of rain falls here at Bass Lake; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Bass Lake has to offer, you can camp at Iron Mountain Campgrounds; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites IRON MOUNTAIN is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful.

hooked on lakes, Crystal Lake is one of those close by. A glorious vista of pretty Pine Mountain is available from Bass Lake, and if you've had enough of Bass Lake, Moon Lake is close by. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Bass
Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Bass Lake all through the winter regularly fall into the-10's. Lots of people from Iron Mountain
come to Bass Lake; a great nearby hotel is Budget Host Inn Iron Mountain. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Norway Mountain, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Menominee River.
