There's so much to do here at Barns Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Big Knob Campground is a perfect place for that. Through the warm months at Barns Pond highs are generally in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Barns Pond temperatures dip to the 0's.       Barns Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls through September while February is generally the driest month. A spree to nearby Fox Point is very relaxing, and as expected, this is a nice vicinity for folks who like lakes, Sherman Pond is a lake in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful.
