you'll meet a lot of people from Grand Rapids-Wyoming here. Yankee Springs Golf Course is a tremendous golf course close by, and if you came to camp Parkside Park is a good spot to do that. Really great skiing awaits you at Bittersweet,
and a magnificent nearby hotel is Econo Lodge & Suites.; the wettest month of the year is commonly September, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest.

Miller Lake Campground
11 miles away We LOVE Miller Lake!!! Hopefully we will be back again this year for the fourth of July.......
Bittersweet
16 miles away Bittersweet has enormous snow-making capacity and is consistently the first to open in SW Michigan. Their vertical is only 350 ft, but that's about 100 more than any other resort in SW Michigan. As noted, their lift system is impressive, particularly the high speed detachable quad, but lines can get a little long on late December weekends. Their terrain park has a good variety of boxes, jumps, etc. Very friendly people....Yea you guys rock i love the snow...Ahh yes, Bittersweet Ski Area... Michigan skiing at it's very best. The drops in these part of the country are not that impressive but I think Bittersweet makes the most of it. I do recommend this ski area....
Cannonsburg
23 miles away This is like a local little ski hill but places like Cannonsburg are good when you really gotta go skiing for a few hours. It's not like Colorado but it's nice to get your ski muscles warmed up a bit and suck in some refreshing winter air....
Timber Ridge
28 miles away It is not very big, but all of the employees are cool and you never have to wait in line to get on the lift. They sometimes seem to overestimate the amount of snow that they have also. I sometimes wonder if they actually measure the snowpiles that have been plowed in the parking lot instead of what is actually on the hill....
