Summer at Barker Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is slightly colder of course, frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Barker Lake sink into the 0's. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Skyline Ski Slide; camping is available at River Pond Campground. This       lake is so wonderful. A magnificent close by hotel is AuSable Valley Hotel and Conference Center, and Hanson Hills has delightful slopes and a friendly staff. Super 8 Motel - Grayling is a good spot to get some rest. From a rainfall point of view Barker Lake is a reasonably normal place; September is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
