Just can't get enough of Bar Lake. Don't leave Bar Lake without first going for a hike along the Horseshoe Lake Cycle Trail; if you came to camp Hesperia Campground is a wonderful site to do that. Bar Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August,       and the driest month of the year is February. If you're visiting Bar Lake from Muskegon-Norton Shores, you won't be the only one, and not far from Bar Lake you'll discover McLeam Lake which is a gorgeous lake. High temperatures at Bar Lake throughout the days of summer are in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are generally in the 20's, and overnight lows at Bar Lake through the winter generally descend                  into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Bar Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Haven Camp Ground is a magnificent local campground. Lakes are magnificent; Kirchner Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Bar Lake.
