Lake Bancroft is a good location of common rain; the month with most of the rain is September; February is the month       with the least moisture. If you're a golfer then a perfect close by course is Wawonowin Country Club; almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Bacon is just a very short distance away. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the area near Lake Bancroft has to offer. A day on the slopes of Marquette is just what you need; don't miss out on a perfect swamp; Grass Lake is right here at Lake Bancroft. This lake is so                  wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Carp Creek; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Holyoke Trail. There's whitewater on Escanaba River - Middle Branch for all you adrenaline rush seekers. While you're here at Lake Bancroft you will meet lots of people from nearby Marquette, and a fine nearby hotel is Best Western Country Inn. This lake is so wonderful. You could also have a look at Lake Angeline while you're here at Lake Bancroft; it's nearby. There's so much to do here at Lake Bancroft that you need to camp here for a while, Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds is a fine spot for that. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Lake Bancroft get into the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Lake Bancroft through the winter mostly descend into the 0's.
