Eggle Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit; camping is available at Beaver Lake Camp Grounds. From a precipitation point of view Bammer Lake is a rather normal place; during September this area sees the most rain; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay McGuire's Resort is a delightful choice; why not camp at Tustin Koa Kampground while you're here at Bammer Lake. What a location this is for outdoors

As it turned out it was by far the best camp site I had ever stayed in and had a great time. Our site happened to be next to the river with a great view, secluded and close to the river. Pine River
 | 16 miles away Actually, the best paddling on the Pine River is below Lincoln, and especially in the section from Dobson Bridge to Low Bridge (approximately 21 miles). there are numerous CI rapids from about 20 minutes US from Dobson to about 20 minutes US from Low Bridge. Unfortunately, due to livery traffic the river is kept cleared to excess. Most of the leaning trees and logjams that make padding interesting have been removed so the drunken rental boat paddlers don't get into trouble.... |
