Leffingwell Point is not far from Bagley Lake at all; in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boardman River. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Bagley Lake, too nice to be true. This is a popular spot for folks from Traverse City, and Honcho Rest Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. High temperatures at Bagley Lake through the summer are in the 80's, and the night is a bit colder of course,

| | commonly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Bagley Lake drop into the 10's. Bagley Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Golf Course. Petobego Pond is a fine lake next to Bagley Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Grand Traverse Resort & Spa. Vacation Village is a perfect local campground; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ACME-TRAVERSE CITY is a nice choice. The skiing at Shanty Creek is glorious.
