This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Menominee River for all you thrill seekers. There's so much to do here at Badwater Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Iron Mountain Campgrounds is a delightful place for that. During the long summer days at Badwater Lake highs are generally in the 70's while night lows are generally in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs       are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Badwater Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. The amount of precipitation that falls at Badwater Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the vicinity of Badwater Lake will keep you coming back repeatedly. Badwater Lake is a site with many visitors from                  Iron Mountain, and why not visit close by Badwater Creek while you're here at Badwater Lake. There are some good whitewater spots on Brule River, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites IRON MOUNTAIN is a nice location to spend a night or two. There are other locations here than Badwater Lake, for example Moon Lake, and if you're a golfer then a perfect close by course is Eagle Mountain Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Norway Mountain in close proximity. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Badwater Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rivers Bend Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Iron Mountain.
