A visit to Lake Bacon is always a good idea. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Escanaba River - Middle Branch; if you came for an overnight stay Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds is a delightful location to camp. If you're here at Lake Bacon, checking out Last Bluff is a must, and there's great hiking along the Holyoke Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Marquette-Days Inn.
