Whitewater paddling is splendid on Escanaba River - Middle Branch, and swing by Carp Creek it's a great place to take a look at. An average amount of precipitation falls at Baby Lake; during the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. There are pleasant places to discover along the Holyoke Trail, and dry warm beds       await you at Marquette-Days Inn. The skiing at Marquette is delightful, and the smiling people of Marquette like to hang out close by. Camping at Country Village RV Park is always a splendid experience, and Best Western Country Inn is a splendid place to get some rest. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Baby Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in                  the wintertime at Baby Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. Pilot Knob is clearly visible from Baby Lake, and on a pleasant day you can stop by Lily Pond, a swamp in the neighborhood of Baby Lake. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great planet it would be. Interesting geology is available here; Last Bluff is in the vicinity of Baby Lake, and a pleasant site to camp here at Baby Lake is Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds. This lake is so wonderful.
