Unadilla Stockbridge Drain flows through this area; near Avery Lake you stumble on a golf course called Waterloo Golf Course. Avery Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly June, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. Having a nice time at Avery       Lake is uncomplicated. Lakes are glorious; McIntyre Lake is a lake that's right next door to Avery Lake. Summertime at Avery Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are mostly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Avery Lake are in the 10's.
